To make The Christmas Blade, you will need:
100% acrylic yarn, worsted weight -- amounts and colors listed in the pattern
Size J/6.00mm crochet hook, size H/5.00mm hook, & size F/ 3.75mm hook
One 12” wooden dowel measuring ½” thick
Glue gun with 1-2 sticks of glue (optional: scrap of cardboard to protect your work surface)
Sewing pins and/or clips
Polyester stuffing & a stuffing stick
Two tapestry needles
If adding "enchantments": embroidery needle with a large hole [chenille, crewel, or doll making needles all work great!] and an erasable pen or marker [I love the Frixion markers because they erase with any heat!]
Optional: stitch markers, Aleene’s Original Tacky Glue

Finished item measures approximately 15" long from pommel to tip and is 6" wide at the hilt. There is a wooden dowel inside for ultimate support as well as plentiful stuffing to keep this thing as safe as possible for the little ones. That said, this item is not intended to be used as a toy. It's home decor. That can be swung.
